Delivered an analytics dashboard MVP in 8 weeks, overcoming many difficult technical challenges while scaling our scraping pipelines. The resulting MVP contributed to securing enterprise contracts with major restaurant brands and a $14mm funding round with Sequoia.

Expanded our analytics dashboard into a cross-platform tablet app for in-restaurant order management. Solved many complex engineering challenges such as using directed cyclic graphs to model menus, creating a custom thermal printer driver, and scaling real-time data-processing queues to fetch orders every 30 seconds. This tablet app broadened our market reach into the small business segment, significantly boosting revenue.

Co-created a “Spotify for news” platform, re-architecting our Kubernetes-based web-crawler for simplicity and scalabilty, and piping all that data in customized feeds for users in a Next.js frontend.

Pivoted to develop a cloud-based operating system, creating a simple-but-powerful architecture modeling all external entities as file descriptors. This new architecture made integrations extremely quick to build, and facilitated our next phase of revenue growth.
